The notice reprinted below from Sage Software has been recently posted in the “What’s New” section of the latest Sage 50 product release. This notice may – or may not – be sent to all current subscribers, so I thought it was important distribute it here for all to see:
“Sage 50 Simple Payroll 2013 and Sage 50 Select Payroll 2013 can be purchased as standalone options only until January 31, 2013. Beginning February 1, 2013, these payroll solutions can be purchased only as part of an autorenewing Sage Business Care plan, the total business management solution that includes your Sage 50 Simple Payroll solution, support, Sage 50 Accounting upgrades and updates, and more.
“For your continued tax peace of mind, when your 2013 payroll solution subscription expires, it will automatically be converted to the Sage Business Care plan that best fits your payroll needs, at the then-current price at time of conversion. You will be notified 45 days in advance of conversion and will be given the opportunity to opt out at this time.”
Any existing Payroll Service users of Peachtree need to be aware of this important change in policy, and make plans accordingly.
Please give us a call at 610-941-2116 if you would like to discuss this impending change to Sage’s payroll tax service in more detail, or if you want to review the menu of services included with Sage BusinessCare and discuss your options with us.
